Veil Nebula

Supernova Remnant

10,000 - 20,000 years ago, a massive star, about 2,400 light years from Earth and roughly 20 times the mass of our sun,

reached the end of its life and blew apart. Its material was blown across that region of space and has been spreading outward since then.

If your scripts are on, an image of a full moon will be displayed for comparison.
